When the 5 boys entered the X-Factor, non of them ever thought that they'd be put into a group. They went in for the experience of it all. The 5 never imagined making it all the way to the finals. Being sent home, in third place, wasn't what any of them wanted. Knowing that nothing would become of One Direction, the 5 went back to their everyday lives before the X-Factor.
